The Show Will Go On; “Days” Dominates
Avex’s corporate homepage and now her official site have updated with a special press release confirming that Ayu will be opening Kouhaku as scheduled as well as holding her annual COUNTDOWN LIVE concert. They stress that it’s at Ayu’s insistence and with the doctor’s approval that the show will go on despite her injury.
Also in spite of her recent hospital visit (or perhaps with a little help from it), her latest single Days/GREEN finished its first week at number one on the Oricon Charts, while the song “Days” continues to perform well. It has secured the #1 spot on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart, entering the Global Track Chart at #32.
