Meanwhile in Shanghai it was announced that Ayu will be a special guest at the Shanghai National Arts Festival this October. The festival opens at the same time as the Shanghai leg of her 10th Anniversary Tour.

Ayu’s official site has updated with the tentative dates for her 2008 arena tour, ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2008 ~10th Anniversary~. So far no dates outside of Japan have been announced.
The official site also updated its News&Information page for her upcoming album GUILTY. According to the update, we can expect the bonus photobook to span at least 32 pages!

Shortly after announcing her upcoming album, Ayu’s official site updated again with news of her first ever digital-only single: “Togetehr When…”
Yes, “Togetehr”. I sincerely hope this is corrected before its December 5th release date.
edit: it has been fixed. “Together When..” is now the official name 
As of right now, it is only going to be released on digital music providers outside of Japan, but Ayu-VogueNET encourages its visitors to request it on iTunes.

Ayu’s official schedule has been updated with information about her annual New Years concert series, COUNTDOWN LIVE 2007-2008 A
Two concerts will be held December 30th and December 31st with times subject to change. Both shows will be held at Yoyogi Stadium in Tokyo with tickets costing 7500 yen a piece. Check on the official schedule for more information.

Avex has added Ayu’s official calendar to its artist 2008 calendar listing. The calendar will be available to Team Ayu members September 7th; the rest of us will have to wait until September 19th.
Ayu’s official site has also been updated with her heavy promotion schedule.

Ayu’s official website has updated with the full tracklisting for her upcoming single talkin’ 2 myself, and it’s already sounding like a winner. We already knew about “talkin’ 2 myself” and “decision”, but this update unveils the third mystery remix: “fated ‘Orchestra version’”. This brings the full tracklisting to:

Ayu’s latest single featuring the song from her upcoming Panasonic ad just got named!
According to her official site, the single is titled “talkin’ 2 myself” and is scheduled have a total of 3 songs, one of which has been revealed to be the new song “decision”.
The DVD will include PVs for both new songs.

It’s been little more than a week since glitter/fated was released, and Ayu’s next single is already scheduled to drop in September! Ayu’s latest will premier in Panasonic’s upcoming campaign and will hit retailers September 19th. The new rock song will be available in a CD-only and “Limited Edition” CD+DVD format according to CDJapan.jp

“glitter” is on MTV Japan’s schedule for July 10th. It will air during the “HOT PICKS” rotation in the 7:30-9:00 time frame and again at 15:00-16:00. Given that it’s listed as “glitter” instead of “Distance Love”, it will more than likely be a segment of the film.

News on glitter/fated has been slow since the initial film shoot, but Ayu has remained busy in and out of the public eye. After shooting the film in Hong Kong, Ayu returned to Japan as one of the top artists on the bill for Avex’s shareholder meeting. She performed both of her new songs, but not before making an appearance on the red carpet of the Peach John lingerie show to show off her new style.
Perhaps most surprising is a recent photoshoot in Hawaii. According to blogger Akiko who took the photograph, Ayu is currently shooting her 2008 Calendar. More photos and a highlight of the shoot can be found at her blog.
