More Vinyl Details + Ayu Abroad Again
The 12″ vinyls listed at HMV have now been announced on Ayu’s official website. These Limited Edition vinyls will run for 1800 yen a piece, with the official release date of April 9th.
French fans and special news reports allege that Ayu is back in Paris, this time without a Panasonic crew in tow. What she’ll be doing in France is unknown. Thanks visitor WaKe for confirming the rumors!

GUILTY Breaks #1 Streak
Although still #1 on the daily charts, Ayu’s 10th original album GUILTY debuted on the Oricon Weekly Charts at #2 today.
This news is arguably dwarfed by the blog post read round the world. Since the original Team Ayu post, the story has been picked up by news agencies the world over.

O Captain! My Captain!
Ayu started the New Year with a shocking announcement to Team Ayu members: her left ear no longer functions.
Longtime fans may recall her troubles during her 2001 Dome Tour where she temporarily lost hearing, and now the damage is permanent. Even so, Ayu promises to keep singing and performing her heart out.
Good luck Ayu, and take care of yourself in the New Year!

Ayu and Boyfriend Split
I don’t normally post such updates since Ayu herself rarely addresses the specifics of personal life. However, today Ayu left messages on her Team Ayu page as well as her producer’s blog that she and Tomoya Nagase have officially called it quits. She writes that the seven year relationship had become less of one of sweethearts and more of siblings, so they remain close friends after the breakup.

More Sanrio Collaborations & Tackling Wedding Rumors
Still no word on that new song Ayu mentioned in her last fan message, but her official site is still keeping busy, announcing yet another Sanrio collaboration. This time Panasonic joins the party with a limited edition design of their popular Lumix camera (which Ayu regularly endorses) . The camera features Hello Kitty and Ayu’s logo engraved on the front and a cute, matching camera case. The special collaboration will hit stores in June.
Wedding rumors about Ayu have been a tabloid staple since she entered the spotlight. Although the latest story originated in glorified tabloid Daily Gendai, with major online news syndications like Yahoo! and Livedoor picking it up — and the story itself discussing corporate collaborations more than celebrity affairs — fans are speculating that Gendai just might be on to something this time. If the story proves true, Ayumi Hamasaki and long-time boyfriend Tomoya Nagase may have a big announcement come Autumn.
Tomoya Nagase is a fellow entertainer Ayu allegedly met during her days as a struggling actress. They went public with their relationship in 2004, and have reportedly been together for six years.
