Mirrorcle World is #1 for the week at the Oricon Style charts. It is her 18th consecutive #1 single — 30th total — and makes her the top female artist in terms of #1 singles. Since her debut in 1998, she has had at least one single hit the top spot each year. Nakamori Akina set the previous record in 1990. Congrats Ayu!

Mirrorcle World single has made its debut on the Oricon Daily charts at number 1.

Additionally, ayu-mi-x 6 -GOLD- and -SILVER- entered the weekly album charts at number 6 and 8, respectively. They are at positions 8 and 9 on the new Billboard Japan Top Albums chart.

It’s April 8th in Tokyo, meaning it’s officially been 10 years since Ayu’s debut single poker face first hit the market. She’s come a long way in these last ten years, and here’s to many more!

In honor of her 10th Anniversary, Ayu’s latest single Mirrorcle World has hit Japanese stores.

Now that her first remix albums in five years have been released, Ayu’s official site has taken the next step in hyping Mirrorcle World, her 10th Anniversary single. The site has updated with streaming and downloadable versions of the Mirrorcle World commercial, which includes the newly unveiled 10th Anniversary logo.

Ayu’s classic Boys & Girls single has been added to iTunes, as has a new “Evolution - Single” featuring the artwork from A BEST 2 -WHITE- this digital single is separate from the original evolution single (also available) and contains a single song.

The official website has unveiled Ayu’s “Mirrorcle World” campaign with a new website layout and four gorgeous single covers.

In addition, it has also added images for the upcoming vinyl remix singles.

Ayu’s official site has confirmed that Ayu has a new single coming out in April!

This special single will have four variations. The main (presumably) double-A sides will be the same (the previously announced “Mirrorcle World” and “Life”), but the b-side will differ. One will come with a new, 10th Anniversary version of “YOU”, the other a 10th Anniversary version of “Depend on you”!

In addition, each will be available in either a CD+DVD and CD-only package, and limited edition CD+DVD packages will have special elongated covers, no doubt as a tribute to the mini-disc packaging of her debut.
