a-nation ’10 announced

a-nation ’10 has con­firmed six show dates in August and announced Ayu as one of the tour’s stars–however, Avex has not yet announced at which of the six shows she will actu­ally per­form. Keep an eye on Ayu’s offi­cial sched­ule fore more infor­ma­tion about her sched­uled appearances.

New Osaka Dates and a-nation ’09

After a flu out­break led to the can­cel­la­tion of two shows in Osaka ear­lier this month, Ayu’s tour sched­ule has been extended to include two make-up shows in the area July 1st and 2nd.

Ayu will also be mak­ing an extended appear­ance at Avex’s sum­mer con­cert series.

Osaka Area Concerts Canceled Due to Flu Outbreak

In light of a sig­nif­i­cant flu out­break in Osaka, Avex updated its cor­po­rate site and per­ti­nent artist pages to announce that all upcom­ing con­certs in the area will be can­celed. This includes Ayu’s shows today and tomor­row, and Ai Otsuka and Koda Kumi’s indi­vid­ual shows the 23rd and 24th.

Yes­ter­day, a press release PDF was uploaded announc­ing that con­cert­go­ers would be sup­plied dis­in­fec­tant and any­one with a cough was required to wear a mask. Now the shows have been offi­cially canceled.

Official Site Overhaul + Rule/Sparkle CM

The offi­cial site has been revamped to pro­mote Ayu’s upcom­ing sin­gle Rule/Sparkle. Sim­i­larly, you can now stream and down­load a CM spot for the sin­gle fea­tur­ing footage from the “Rule” PV.

GREEN/Days News Overload!

Ayu Conquers a-nation

I usu­ally don’t report on the specifics of Avex com­pi­la­tions, but the new track­list­ing for its spe­cial a-nation’08～avex ALL CAST SPECIAL LIVE ～ anniver­sary tour DVD con­tains a stag­ger­ing 8 per­for­mances by Ayu–more than any other artist! Ayu’s set includes “Mir­ror­cle World”, “A Song for ××”, “Great­ful days”, “fairy­land”, “HANABI”, “AUDIENCE” “Boys & Girls”, and “July 1st”.

Addi­tion­ally, this DVD is avail­able in a spe­cial two-disc set that fea­tures a doc­u­men­tary about the concert.

The offi­cial site has updated with links to three more videos pro­mot­ing A COMPLETE, Ayu’s new 10th Anniver­sary boxset out next week. One is a vari­a­tion (if not the exact same) as the sin­gle mon­tage we’ve already seen, but the oth­ers fea­ture a focus on the new pho­to­book and an a cap­pella ver­sion of the 10th Anniver­sary record­ing of the clas­sic bal­lad “Who…”

a-nation 08 and the Ayu Museum

As Avex’s sum­mer con­cert series draws to a close, its biggest stars came out to steal the show. Ayu’s set included an enthu­si­as­tic per­for­mance of “AUDIENCE” in the crowd.

The Ayu Museum has actu­ally been online for awhile but I’ve been reluc­tant to talk about it because it both had crip­pling usabil­ity issues and didn’t appear to be updated. How­ever, the Ayu Dig­i­tal Museum — while still stalling at times — has been updated to fea­ture all of her music videos, com­mer­cials, and behind the scenes footage. Now vir­tu­ally every video or music record­ing Ayu has graced can be streamed from ayu10th.com (…when it loads).
