“Rule” PV Has Director

A recent Team Ayu blog entry posted on AHS Forums confirms that Takahide Ishii is the director for Ayu’s upcoming “Rule” PV. Takahide Ishii is credited for a number of Ayu’s PV since 2006, including the critically acclaimed “part of Me” and most recently “Days”.

New Single: Rule/Sparkle

Ayu’s official site has updated with the inevitable Rule/Sparkle single. It will be available in three formats: One with a DVD, one with the b-side “Days (acoustic version)” and one with the b-side “GREEN (acoustic version)”.
All packages feature the songs “Rule”, and “Sparkle” and a remix of “Rule”.
If you’ll recall, “Rule” is the theme song for upcoming Hollywood adaption of Dragonball while “Sparkle” is the Honda CM song for their ZEST Spark cars.

So far there’s nothing about an international release of the single. Hopefully we’ll be hearing something about that closer to the film’s release.

Arena Tour 2009 Announced; More on “Sparkle”

Ayu’s official site has updated with a the dates and locations for Ayu’s 2009 Arena Tour A. So far the stops are only in Japan, but the title of the tour is tentative.
The website has also updated posted Chaku Uta, MUSICO, etc codes for “Sparkle”, her new song tie-in with Honda’s ZEST Spark.

New Asia Tour DVD Cover Released

Ayu’s official site has updated with the cover of Ayu’s upcoming concert DVD ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2008 〜10th Anniversary〜 Live in TAIPEI, due in Japanese stores January 28th.
