“Rule” PV Has Director

A recent Team Ayu blog entry posted on AHS Forums con­firms that Takahide Ishii is the direc­tor for Ayu’s upcom­ing “Rule” PV. Takahide Ishii is cred­ited for a num­ber of Ayu’s PV since 2006, includ­ing the crit­i­cally acclaimed “part of Me” and most recently “Days”.

New Single: Rule/Sparkle

Ayu’s offi­cial site has updated with the inevitable Rule/Sparkle sin­gle. It will be avail­able in three for­mats: One with a DVD, one with the b-side “Days (acoustic ver­sion)” and one with the b-side “GREEN (acoustic version)”.

All pack­ages fea­ture the songs “Rule”, and “Sparkle” and a remix of “Rule”.

If you’ll recall, “Rule” is the theme song for upcom­ing Hol­ly­wood adap­tion of Drag­onball while “Sparkle” is the Honda CM song for their ZEST Spark cars.

So far there’s noth­ing about an inter­na­tional release of the sin­gle. Hope­fully we’ll be hear­ing some­thing about that closer to the film’s release.

Arena Tour 2009 Announced; More on “Sparkle”

Ayu’s offi­cial site has updated with a the dates and loca­tions for Ayu’s 2009 Arena Tour A. So far the stops are only in Japan, but the title of the tour is tentative.

The web­site has also updated posted Chaku Uta, MUSICO, etc codes for “Sparkle”, her new song tie-in with Honda’s ZEST Spark.

Ayu’s offi­cial site has updated with the cover of Ayu’s upcom­ing con­cert DVD ayumi hamasaki ASIA TOUR 2008 〜10th Anniver­sary〜 Live in TAIPEI, due in Japan­ese stores Jan­u­ary 28th.
